Testimonials
"Coach Perry Plummer was my high school hockey coach and one of the most influential people in my hockey career. His passion for the game is palpable, his knowledge is outstanding, and he is able to foster a team culture that is both competitive and so much fun. He made me look forward to getting up at 5:30 am for practice, he taught me how to hone basic skills that I had been working on for years, as well as more complex systems and situational awareness. He always pushed me to be my best while providing a supportive environment in which to learn and grow. He held me accountable but always had a smile on his face. He more than prepared me to play college hockey, and I often found myself thinking “what would Coach Plummer have us do in this situation”. He still remains one of my favorite people (on and off the ice)! I would highly recommend him for any player wanting to get to the next level and have a blast doing it!"

I was coached by all sorts of people from youth sports through collegiate athletics and there are very few that can compare to Coach Plummer. I consider it an honor to have had the opportunity to play for him and could not provide a higher recommendation of him as a coach and as a person. He knows exactly how to reach out to and motivate every type of person, and this allows him to get the most out of all players. Each practice and drill were planned so that every minute on the ice was maximized and the drills and techniques were always cutting-edge.
Only with the hindsight that I have now do I realize that much of my athletic success is owed to Coach Plummer. He taught me how to compete, gave me confidence to take on any challenge and how to prepare myself mentally and physically to be at the top of my game. I don’t mean this lightly, he is one of the most positive influences I have had in my life. If you are willing to put in the work that he requires, there is no limit to the success he can help you achieve.

I had the privilege to play for Coach Plummer for 5+ years from Bantam to Midget and Division I High School Hockey. Coach Plummer was instrumental in my development as a player and his coaching and guidance were a huge contributing factor to my growth as a hockey player. After playing for Coach Plummer I was able to go on to play Junior hockey and ultimately Division II college hockey. His attention to detail between on ice coaching as well as off ice training and conditioning are second to none. It was a privilege to play for Coach Plummer for so many years as he helped me reach my hockey goals as well as develop and mature as a person along the way.

I was fortunate enough to play for and coach alongside Perry Plummer. He has a unique ability to communicate with players and teach high-level skills/systems in a way that is relatable and easy to understand. As a coach, almost 15 years removed from playing for Perry, I still incorporate lessons learned from playing for him - including systems, goal setting and advanced skill development. His handling of players is second to none and made me a better player, coach and person.

When I reach back in my file and reflect upon the glowing lessons that sports have taught me, some of the strongest lessons were imbued by the leaders I was fortunate enough to have appointed over me. In my military career I’ve learned a lot about leadership and the Plummers are exemplary. They inject themselves into all facets of the organization and act as the backbone, always taking the morale high ground, and bringing out the most in their athlete. They do this through painstaking attention to detail, genuine care and mentor ship and finally, all out tenacity. Their ability to coerce individuals to think selflessly and make sacrifices for the cause is founded in a deep sense of humility and instilled in a strong work ethic that the Plummers posses. They teach that if you want to be successful tomorrow, you have to put the work in today. These takeaways have paid dividends in my life, I wish I could have one more skate under the careful guidance of Coach Plummer.

I played high school hockey for Perry and Chris Plummer. Not only did they help me improve greatly as a player, they taught me life attributes that I still rely on today in my military career. Their influence in my development was not defined by the boards of a hockey rink. They taught me the true meaning of hard work, the importance of unwavering integrity, and the process of building a team. They constantly preached respect, humility, and accountability. Their ability to instill leadership qualities in teenagers and young adults rivals what I have experienced in the Army. On top of that, their knowledge about the game of hockey is second to none. They expertly balanced individual skill development with implementing team systems. They made it fun to come to the rink everyday, win or lose. It was an honor to play hockey for them, and more importantly, am blessed to have learned from these great leaders.
